Sheridan's is simply the best restaurant in Smyrna - an achievement some might not consider noteworthy, but let it be noted that Sheridan's could hold its own in any metropolitan area. The menu is not as expansive as some restaurants, but the Irish / American choices they do have are, for the most part, excellently prepared. Although they are perhaps forced by its geographical placement to offer Bud Light and its like, Sheridan's offers up a decent selection of quality beers such as Guinness, Woodchuck, and they usually even have your latest Sam Adams seasonal. The ambiance is cozy, with nice touches like a fire hydrant tap at the bar and tables with bases that look like they used to be old sewing machines. There's a deck upstairs for nice weather, too. Prices are in-line with other restaurants of this caliber (comparable to Ruby Tuesday's or TGI Friday's in price, but the similarities stop there). Well worth stopping by if you're in town.
